COURSE STRUCTURE
 |
The course consists of 20 hours per week of taught
classes plus project preparation. |
 |
The 8 modules are spread over the duration of the
course to provide an even workload. |
 |
Students undertake coursework, including individual
assignments, extended case studies and group activities. |
 |
The course is assessed on a combination of the
coursework and an examination taken at the end of each module. |
 |
The continuous assessment means that there is no
build-up of pressure towards examination at the end of the courses,
as can be the case with study on the traditional
‘A’ Level course. |
COURSE ASSESSMENT
Work assessments take several
forms. The two main forms are:
 |
Practical
or written tests |
 |
Coursework |
Coursework includes individual assignments, extended case studies
and group activities. At the end of each module, students are
assessed in a two-hour examination.
