I have studied in Abacus College from January to July 2014 and did a Foundation Programme in Science. The reason I chose Abacus College was because it is one of the best colleges in Oxford that offers good quality teaching and preparation for university. The teachers are highly qualified and are always willing to help at any time; they have different methods of teaching to make the student learn and enjoy at the same time. The college offers small group tuition which helps the student get a better understanding, attention and support.

In addition to that, you get to meet people all over the world, make new friends and share different experiences. Everyone there is friendly and you will never feel lonely.

The college is situated in a great location, with a wide range of shops and restaurants nearby to choose from so you can never get bored of eating the same food every day. Along with that, Oxford on its own is a lovely city, with lots of places to visit and student discounts.

Just to highlight how great the teaching is I got 81% overall in my Foundation Programme and I’m now studying at Aberdeen university in Scotland and doing my degree in Petroleum Geology.

I truly recommend Abacus College, not only for the good teaching quality but also for the friendly, helpful and fantastic staff they are because there is a difference between just learning and learning with passion.
