HOMESTAY ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation is provided with a carefully chosen homestay
and students have the choice of either a shared room or a single room. All
students are given breakfast, a packed lunch and an evening meal. To ensure
that students benefit fully from the course and that their stay is happy and
trouble free, a Welfare Officer is always available.
GROUP DISCOUNTS
Group discounts are available! For every 15 students we
offer one free place to a leader. The exact price depends on number and ages
of the students in the group. Please contact Oxford Language Centre for a quote. For details
on group transfers, please see below.
ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES
We would prefer for all arrivals to take place on a Sunday
and for all departures to take place either on a Saturday or on a Sunday.
GETTING TO OXFORD
Students may choose one of the following means of
transport for getting to Oxford:
1) ‘Airline’ Bus

Departures from Heathrow: Buses run every 30 minutes. For
terminals 1, 2 & 3: Central Bus Station, Bay 14. For terminal 4: Bay 1.
Approximate time to Oxford (Gloucester Green Bus Station): 80 - 100 minutes.
Departures from Gatwick: Buses run once an hour from North
& South Terminals. Approximate time to Oxford (Gloucester Green Bus
Station): 120 minutes.
2) Taxi
We can arrange for a taxi to meet individual students at
the airport. Costs for 2007 are: £90 each way Heathrow to Oxford and £115
each way Gatwick to Oxford.
GROUP TRANSFERS
For groups, we can arrange for private coaches to do
collections & returns from/to Heathrow and Gatwick airports. The exact cost
per head will depend on the number of students in the group and the coach
size selected (12, 27, 52 and 72 seater coaches available). For further
