Accommodation

Abacus College believes that providing accommodation in which you feel relaxed and at home is of major importance. We want you to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay while studying with us and we will do our best to meet your individual needs. All college arranged accommodation is checked on a regular basis.

Types of accommodation:

Homestay – Carefully selected, welcoming families. You will have your own comfortable study-bedroom, breakfast and evening meals, a laundry service, and the opportunity to share family life. (Cost: £140 – £150 per week)

Homestay Plus – Homestays plus families provide a higher level of support and supervision and is compulsory if you are aged under 16. (Cost: £150 – £160 per week)

Self-Catering Homestay – These homestays will allow you to cook your own meals. (Cost: £110 – £130 per week)

Private Home – While a homestay family may live at the same property, with this option you can enjoy a little more independence. Please note that cooking facilities are not necessarily available. (Cost: £140 – £150 per week)

*Please note that places in a private home and self-catering homestay are limited and advance booking is required. Internet access is available at most homestays but not guaranteed. Free internet is available at the college Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:30.
